The threat posed by arch-rivals to India’s cybersecurity is manifold and even greater than initially estimated. With mounting cyber attacks, it has become imperative for India to heighten its vigilance and take stringent steps to protect vital systems and networks. A report by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) highlights a staggering increase in cyber attacks targeting various sectors, including finance, healthcare, and government entities. In the first quarter of 2023 alone, India witnessed a significant rise in cybersecurity incidents compared to the previous year, emphasizing the urgency of the situation

Securing government emails, healthcare, transportation, finance, power, railways, and education systems from cyber intrusions is a top priority for the Indian government. Recent incidents, such as the Chinese attack on AIIMS Delhi servers, highlight the vulnerabilities of critical infrastructure.
